Lads, lads lads I can shed some light on this. I have heard the picture doing the rounds is Carra's house & not Stevie's, don't know if that is true or not.
However, I work with a lad who lives around the corner from Gerrard in Formby & can confirm the house is up for sale. Also, I asked a girl I work with cos her husband was supplying glass to his extension & had been to his house a lot. She said they had finished work on that house, but were now helping out on a new house he has bought that is bigger than the one that is up for sale & not far from where he lives. I know the road he lives on, but don't want to quote it on here.
Now you can believe or disbelieve this, but i can confirm one thing. if a footballer was moving away from his home city & he had bought a house that was going to last a lifetime he wouldn't sell the house, he would just rent it or get family to stay in it. So selling up to move abroad is not on the agenda.
