Playing as de facto captain since Klopp has come in. I have often maligned him and he was so close to leaving so fair play to the lad -really helping Sahko + Skrtel.
He is still our weak link but best DM we have, as we don't have any other. At least Klopp understands the value of a DM unlike his predesessor.
Weak link?? have you watched a game where he doesnt play? He has turned into a great player and after everything BR put him through i am surprised he is still here.
Of course he is a weak link, giving fouls away in dangerous positions, getting cards, not passing the ball well enough, not giving much in attack, never scores. But as I said, he is the best we've got in that position, and convinced that we will have somebody better in that area very soon.
