Oh well... I've always been the optimist but it really looks now as the final nail has been hammered in as I really can't see the bar-steward manc scum losing their next 2 games.

I feel sick

I can hear the snapping of all those rose tinted glasses that have been worn by some over the past 4 months.
It was a nice dream, but since the teams appauling start to the new year, it was never really in our hands to win it, only in the Mancs to lose it.

It has always been the mancs to lose since Feb, but I have alway held on to the belief that we might just pip them but they have just managed to grind out results (with some dodgy decisions - Spurs for one).

But we HAVE pushed them all the way and they've been pressured but we just didn't quite have enough.

But that's not a rose tinted dream Growler, that's reality!

if the scum do win it this year, we must do EVERYTHING to make sure they don't win it next year. Could you imagine Alex feguson's face if they won it next year, overtook our titles record, then he retired....?!?!?! Makes me ill - we have to stop them.

We didn't deserve to win it this year...FACT!

Next year, with a bit of luck and good fortune on the injury front, then maybe, just maybe.
Take heart and encouragement from the fact that you've just stated, in that we HAVE given Utd a damned good run for their money this season and they should be rightly looking over their shoulders for next season.
PL runners up doesn't actually sound too bad if you say it quickly....if we can stay there for the next week and a half.

yes coming 2nd is brilliant progress but I'm still gutted though Growler - only natural I suppose.

but I will say that if we didn't deserve to win it this year, the manc scum didn't either. We have been playing better football than them - we have a better GD and out of the so called Top 4, we lead the table by a long way.

Next season is very exciting and I'm not dissapointed in this season's challenge. If you said to me at the start of the season that we would be still challenging now, I would have been stoked. Next year will be great and the scum will be without Tevez and Poofaldo.

We can all hope that a miracle occurs and Manure lose their next two...i know it's highly unlikely but stranger things have happened!!!
As for next year they will need to replace Tevez and Christina which will be very difficult for them...They may equal us this year but I doubt they will ever get in front of us.
Next season will definately be our season and Manure will forever be playing catch up against the mighty LFC.

I can honestly see them starting on a downward slide. Red nose isn't going to hang around much longer and with the loss of a couple of players, they won't be as strong. No one else will be able to manage their ego's.
