Gomez, now Ings

Klopp has talked a good game about increasing the intensity in training and matches.

Klopp's Dortmund endured a poor final season with injuries one of the major factors for their below par performance. Klopp has to accept some of the responsibility for this.

Already within a week Ings is the first to be injured. This will be the first of many if Klopp's record is anything to go by.

Injuries are part of football. On this occasion Klopp shouldn't be blamed for Ings' injury. But it should be a wake up call.

Already a host of our star players are injured. Henderson's absence cost Liverpool the title and ultimately Rodgers his job. Injuries cannot be used as an excuse if Klopp fails at Liverpool.

If players are picking up injuries though overtraining then Klopp should take full responsibility.

If this means we lose some of our star players for several matches, it will have dire consequences for our league position come May.

And of course if this means we fail to progress under Klopp then he should face the same fate as Brendan.

Thank you for reading.

The 'downbeat' one

Unfortunately today's press conference was the first in as long as I can remember where I was genuinely wishing for it to finish. It seemed a bit lifeless and downbeat.

Ah get over it, this bitter teenage girl (no offence to any teenage girls) thing is so old now. Stop clutching at straws and move on.

No offence taken Del.. Red,that post deserves the wankker of the week award.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Scouser, I've backed you up a bit in the past but you're starting to sound like a winey little bitch now! Rodgers has gone get the fukk over it and back the new man!

Injuries happen regardless of the manager and as Faz said, Gomez got injured on England duty so no fault of Klopp.

OK I get the message I will stop bringing Rodgers up in any of my posts. I am 100% behind the new man.

I am just pointing out a theme of Klopp's previous work. Although this was no fault of his, it should be a warning sign for the future. It only needs 4-5 of our better players to get injured and we have an injury crisis and our season effectively cut short.

look mate i was a brendan fan , but he failed and has gone , there is a famous saying "the king is dead long live the king" , back klopp and back the team instead of predicting failure before a ball is kicked .
