I think we have bigger problems than just Rodgers. When FSG won't even consider Klopp when we could sign him then we are in trouble I think. Rodgers is talking all the flack, but this mess is not all down to him.
At this stage I don't think a new manager is going to make a massive difference. FSG want another yes man I'm of the same opinion. Changing the manager will have an effect on results in the short term but I fell FSG will appoint the same type of manager again. I mean, why would they be able to attract Klopp or Ancelotti now when they couldn't in the summer?

Oh there are lots of issues but we can only deal with one at a time and the easier one to do first is get a manager then fans can get behind.
Not a manager that talks a good game but fails to live up to them.

I am probably hoping there, but what else to do. Unfortunately I think it's just a hope. FSG had the perfect opportunity to sack him in the summer after our worst defeat in god knows how many years. According to reports, neither Klopp or Ancelotti were sold on the 'project'. If FSG were serious about LFC and taking us back to the top, the 'project' should be to get a top class manager and let him do his fecking job! It's not happening so when Rodgers does go, expect another manager or the same type to follow him for another 5 year project of the same old shitte!

That may well all be true Wilks but it will depend on if this doesn't really stabilise. Say we are around 8th,9th even 10th from here on in and we go along with Dunc's view they want 4th spot to maximise the glitter and gloss sale price, you would think that a big change in direction would have to take place if it hasn't done already surely?
If no big manager wants it under their project then panic may ensue and things will have to be torn up and a more traditional approach adopted.

They will not make the money they want to make from the club if we are not challenging at the top end.
They can prey on the Liverpool brand but that doesn't mean as much if we are not winning trophies or challenging for top four.
