Beat Villa, beat Everton, everything changes. BR is in the hands of the players more than ever. If they have any spine worth talking about they'll be trying all out or they're not worthy of the shirt. BR brought most of them in and has put them on the pitch. They, at least owe him a professional effort. He's taking all the blame but they are kicking the ball and getting well paid for doing it. The degree to which our players are able to hide behind BR and FSG is ridiculous. He's protected them at every turn and taken it all on himself. Not once has he really directed blame at the team. If the team stop trying and get BR sacked, it doesn't bode well.
I'd rather we won the next two games and shut some people up. I'm not a BR fan and if he goes, then so be it. The idea that our players can be excused a poor effort is, to me, even more gut wrenching.

Sooner a quality manager comes in the better
He has till December to access the whole squad and decide wat players are needed in jan 2016 to make a serous challenge for a top 4 finish From Mourinho wannabee to the original driver of that parked bus - is that progress?

No it's a backwards step. But it's the kind of appointment that would suit FSG down to the ground. Cheap and will be happy to work for such a big club. Has never had a big budget either. This is why I say we need to be careful what we wish for. All this we'll get Klopp, Ancelotti nonsense could backfire big time!

Ings has a fantastic attitude and is a breath of fresh air in the game/team for me. See him yesterday Derek shaking his head, banging the turf when things didn't quite come off etc. Great stuff.
Really hope Benteke doesn't just walk back in when fit and I'm concerned that if he does we will revert back to playing hoofball which will be a disaster.
