We need to be aiming for higher than 4th place. If my co-efficients understanding is correct, the EPL could be reduced to 3 Champions League entrants from next season;

If any Serie A team gets further than any EPL team this year, then our 4th spot gets given to Italy.

On the bright side, it will make the Europa League more interesting as there will be a better calibre of teams in it. On the down side, it means we will get knocked out even earlier!!! :-)

I'd say we need to start winning games first / get rid of BR / hope to Gaud some miracle happens whichever comes first before we dream about top 4.

The way things are going, 4th place won't be good enough for CL football very soon. If BR isn't capable of 4th then he certainly isn't capable of 3rd! Maybe FSG will then concede that 'their man' isn't 'the man'.

We'd be lucky to get top half, let alone top 4 the way we've been playing.

But but but this wasn't in the script. We're bloody 5 years in and it was meant to be a quick flip. At this rate we are going to have to start spending real money.

Get Ayer on the phone and tell those bloody contractors to start working nights and get that stand finished.

The calibre of teams in the Europa league are already too much for us.

Teams like Bilbao and Dortmund would smash us right now so let's just concentrate on getting to the 40point mark. Then maybe a run in the Johnson paint trophy
