This is one game where Rodgers is dammed if he does and dammed if he doesn't. Because of our poor start the Norwich game is huge, nothing but a win is acceptable.
The squad he's bringing to France should be capable of a draw which is probably the best we can hope for considering his poor record in Europe.
Bringing a bunch of academy players is a good thing as he hasn't really had a chance to ''educate'' them yet, so they should play well.

the thing i worry about is if he is going 3 centre backs with ibe as a wingback.I so hope not , and that gomez is playing right back. BR has said he is switching to attacking football so lets hope so.

If you look at transfer expenditure and resources of the clubs, those 2 games should be won, winning is no exploit, just the minimum. So yes, if we win, we should be happy that it is a job done as expected. Losing would be a disaster like the WH game, so what's your point? If we had beated United at OT or Arsenal at Emirates, that would have been an exploit everybody would have lauded Rodgers with.
