I always was of the opinion ye need a big squad to win the league. I now see that view is flawed. Ok to succeed on league and european fronts yes a big squad is important.
Chelsea won the league (which is all I care about to be honest) with about 15 players.
During that season wed a small squad.
I feel its more important to have 15 top class players that a good squad

There is no use in having a squad when the manager is too clueless to use that squad ala rotation Rafa style.
Our dear hyped up superstar manager who has come second two seasons ago and was voted the coveted LMA Manager of the year then would rather play non performing players game after game and then complain at the end.
Outstanding, outstanding, fvcken classically outstanding I wonder when we gonna turn that infamous corner again.

My squad wud be...
16 quality international players ...mixer of 20/28yrs olds..
1... Experienced keeper ie 35yrs plus.. Back up
4 experienced players between 30/35..
4 of the best young players at the club 16/19 yrs old ..
That's my 25 man squad .. To challenge for the title and the FA cup..
4/5 young talented players out on loan with a 24hr recall option included in the deal

I agree. You don't often see the best teams rotating, I hate us playing a second string in the Europa league and Carling cup. A club that has a history of winning trophies should not have a manager that doesn't even try to win them.

Wilkij1975 why do you care so much about how BR will be viewed after the match?
Most of us on here support LFC not BRFC. We want the best for the club that we support. Whether its a win win or lose lose situation for BR is totally off the point.
