Even if messi , Ronaldo were playing upfront for Brodge ... Both wud struggle to score goals ...

I'm not too hopeful, last time he came back he scored a goal immediately then nothing. He is a good player, and probably going to make a difference, but not that big. We might play with 2 CF, but we will end up having more problems defensively as our midfield lacks a proper high calibre DM and our defenders lack confidence for whatever reasons.

I actually laughed out loud to this.

But I think he can. Doesn't matter how bad we play. He scores goals. His record is up there with the best of the best.

But Rodgers will find a way to incorporate him onto the wing.

We did pretty well at the start of the 2013/14 season when Suarez was banned for 10 games. Sturridge earned us plenty of points in that period. Since then we have added about £150m worth of 'talent', and got rid of a £50m over rated scumbag....so we should be awesome......

The 10 games were over 2 seasons, I think he missed 5 games and were were winning by very low scores. Suarez came back and we started to score plenty but also conceded a lot. Despite finishing 2nd I think we had the 6th worst defence. Therefore, as Benteke is no Suarez, I think it would be much more difficult to outscore the opposition. Since Rodgers arrived, DM has been a problem
