It's hard to tell what the aim is at the moment. BR has tried several different formations already and none of them are working. Even in the 2 games that we won, we looked rubbish. So what actually are we 'trying' to do?

- 'Possession football' where we bore the opposition to death
- 'hoofball', in the hope that Benteke will bail us out every week
- or are we still attempting to master the intricacies of "tiki taka"?!?!?!?!?

He doesn`t know himself.Master tactician my ass it was all down to Suarez, if he had any idea of what he is doing he would have adapted to losing Luis.He keeps doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.Crazy fool.

Looks to me like he's trying to not get beat which has then taken away the one thing that we seemed to be good at.

It's a tricky one though. We lost probably the best all round attacking player in the world, but weren't able to replace him; mainly because the only alternatives were well out of our reach. Once we had decided to sell Suarez, our spiral downwards was inevitable.

How good would Real be if they lost Ronaldo?

I'm not sticking up for Rodgers - anyone can see that we should be doing much better with the time he has had and the money he has spent. Basically, he has panicked and just tried to throw money at the problem. Without doubt it has backfired and exposed his limitations as a manager. We shouldn't be too hard on him though, as long as he does the decent thing and walks away soon.

He hangs himself though.His stategy is try to keep the ball at home or let the opponents have it away,neither of which work.You cant asscociate any kind of purpose with our game or base to build from like say with Houllier he wanted to be strong defensively,or Rafa wanted a pressing game.Rodgers apparently had a blueprint when he came which he seems to have torn up and is now just winging it.

If/when he goes, where do you see him ending up next? Has he done enough for a top half EPL club give him a chance, or do you think he'll end up in the championship? I wonder how his spanish lessons are coming along - perhaps he's eyeing up Benitez's job!!

He might not go.When Coutinho is back with Henderson and hopefully Danny to partner Benteke we will be a different team,however he has a better squad then he is showing i.e firmino and Ings on the fukking wings isolating them and rendering them ineffective,he makes the most frustrating decisions which he will hopefully change.
