Now believe me this is not a kneejerk reaction but I genuinely believe that your time is up. Time and again, you have failed to win games when it really mattered. Worse, you have failed miserably at motivating your players who have lost all the fight in them. Today, with two top managers available, our club has a perfect chance of progressing. Will you please do the honorable thing and hand in your resignation, effective tonight. Wishing you all the best on your next job, I remain sincerely yours.

His long-term missus has gone. His long term colleagues have gone. He's on his own now. And the plan still isn't working. He's sinking. He sold the people who have made him down the river. And if he had the best interests of the club at heart he would've brought in someone like Paco - and given him more powers than a standard number 2.

His remit was to coach the players and give better PR in press conferences than Kenny. He has achieved both requirements of his job description.
