I already thought this season was his last chance. The signings were good this summer so there are no excuses. We have good enough players that a top manager would get us in the top 4. Arsenal and Man Utd are nothing special right now and are there for the taking, even Chelsea after such a poor start.

I'm afraid the problems are tactical, as they were for much of last season and that is purely down to the manager. Brendan Rodgers can not afford to be given a tactical masterclass by Slaven Billic. He's been made a fool of by midtable managers like Mark Hughes, Tony Pulis, Alan Pardew and now Billic who have consistently out thought him. It really is last chance saloon as far as I'm concerned

we have added £80M of attacking talent to the squad this season and scored 2 goals in 4 games.

BR has also out thought Wenger, Mancini, Moyes, Jose, Pellegrino during his time as our manager.

No he hasn't, and anyone can beat anyone in an individual match. Its the overall season performance that matters.

He was deadwood most of last season when he went on holiday in January and stopped playing from January onwards.

Still not a definition of a deadwood player, he was first choice for us and is now first choice for the best team in the country at this moment in time.
