2 games 6 points clean sheets
Yet some act like we lost 5 games straight
I was one of those who wanted Rodgers replaced in the summer, he is still here but many changes were made, I still have my reservations but will at least wait to see how it all plays out, so far haven't seen anything alarming other than standard start of season sluggishness and we got full points despite of that.
Can we at least wait a bit and let the team have a reasonable run before coming to conclusions.

I think the consensus was 10 games.

People are worried by the first two performances, maybe overly so in some cases. But you have to realise that some can't put anything ahead of their want for Rodgers blood.

I don't think that's the case. I think everyone understands that we're not going to win the league for some time unless some super rich owner comes along. Whilst we can't expect the title, we do expect a competent, competitive team and performances. Especially after a manager has had 3 seasons under his belt already.
Unfortunately, thought not unreasonably, some fans have already concluded that BR is not up to the job. That's their right. They haven't reached this view for the sake of it or because of an agenda against BR. They've reached this view based on hard evidence of BRs words, actions and the performances of his teams over three seasons.
I've just had a look at the fixtures. I suggest 14 league games will be a fair and generous time to assess the situation. That'll cover 7 home games and away games against last season's top 4.

I agree we played two teams who are not top 4 contenders, after Monday night we should get a better picture of how we fare up.

The fact that we have been so easily overun by a promoted side and stoke is very worrying. The same cracks from last season are present. I am happy with 6 points and hopefully we make it 9 next week but we need one of the performances of the season to do so.

The last game worried me. We should have lost only for bad referring. If people think that is not cause for concern then I don't know what is

Can we at least wait a bit and let the team have a reasonable run before coming to conclusions. I was the one who started the thread what's up with liverpool. If you read the orginal post it was not coming to any conclusions I was merely noting despite the two wins both performances were poor and asking the question was this a blip that would right itself or something more fundamental ? Quite a reasonable thing I would have thought to put on a discussion forum about Liverpool FC. May I ask quite what it is you are expecting ? That no comments are ever made other than saying how marvellous it all is?

@stanly park
It's not that's specific topic, it's a general mood amongst a segment of fans
Like I said I also have my resvations but also can't come to any conclusion just yet, at least give it a run of games.
What got to me was that rival fans like Chelsea, Arsenal, MU can't say anything because they are doing worse or aren't doing better but then the shots come from within.
Not saying the team are great, also not saying they are $h!t, we didn't see enough to come to conclusions like that
But what is for sure is that we have 6 points out of 6 in out of sorts days, we can enjoy that right now . Milner after both games said himself the performances aren't there yet, but is grateful to have full points in the meantime
