How have Utd progressed though? Like I said, the only good business they've done is Schneiderling so far. Depay is completely unproven in the EPL and is the type of player we'd all moan about if we signed for that reason.
They lost Van Persie and haven't strengthened up front and more importantly, they haven't improved their defence. Add to that De Gea possibly going and I'd be quite p!ssed if I were a Utd fan.
Van Gaal, for all his experience, has also proved to be as erratic as Rodgers in his team selections and interviews etc.
