Says to me that Maureen is such an idiot! Got riled by a throwaway comment from a manager's wife and stooped so low with a personal comment about someone's appearance. What a dufus!

Quite simply, he's a cvnt.

I'm with Growler. He's a proper cvnt and the sooner he leaves this league the better. No class and I'm even starting to think Chelsea deserve better!

Actually the comment (labelled a joke by the press) was anything but. For a manager's wife to be saying her husband has been cleaning up **** isn't remotely funny however your sense of humour but Jose is Jose and he has obviously taken it as expected and gone OTT.

I now hope Raffa takes the classy way out and just ignores it to get on with the small tasks ahead at Real.

It depends on the context. I simply can't imagine his wife saying this in a serious manner. Even if she did, it's only his wife - surely shouldn't react to that like he did. Anyway, from what I've just read here:

it seems to me it was indeed simply an attempt at a touch of humour. Some other funny things she said:

1. Rafa explained 4-4-2 to her on their first date!
2. Rafa's two best friends looked like they wanted to kill him... Stevie G and Jamie perhaps?

Sounds a damned sight more interesting than a threesome!
