Yes sturridge is an injury prone one season wonder, we pine. Our entire season on him last season, time to get rid whilst we can still get a decent fee for him

It's nonsense to keep a player who has a severe long term knee injury, which might be hereditary, keeps having extensive periods o time out of the game, is on a high wage, all because he had one good season when Suarez was carrying him, why keep him when we could sell him for 20 mil.
We already have origi and firmino who could play his game, Ings, lambert, borini, balotelli, yesil all on the books.

Given his injury problems we wouldn't get much for him, given his ability and importance to the team when fit it wouldn't even be worth considering selling, nobody would pay 20 million plus.
Of course we can't rely on him but having him fit will be a massive bonus. Imagine a front 3 of Firminio,Benteke,Sturridge. That has goals written all over it, not to mention the impact he can have coming off the bench, which will probably how he'll be used for a while when back.

Serious question if we sign Benteke and he does well for us. And if we get Sturridge back to fitness and scoring in November and December for us.
Should we contemplate selling Sturridge in January for over 40million to a club still in the CL.
Based on his fitness history in sure he will suffer future extended layoffs due to injury.
Basically we just need to get him fit and scoring for 2 months in November and December then we can profit and sell him for mega bucks to a CL team in January.
Im sure that if Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City are struggling in the league in January or Cl then one of those would pay 40million plus for Sturridge in January.
We get sick note off our books with Origi or Ings to replace him and partner Benteke.
Of course if Benteke is struggling then selling Sturridge is not a option.
Whatcha think No.

Before that was his thigh. He said it may be hereditary as his dad and uncle got injuries but nothing more, no evidence to suggest it is. He's just that sort of player who gets injuries. Look at Owen and Torres and how much time off they had but I bet you didn't want them sold? Plus it's been one season of constant injuries. What if we shoot our bolt early and sell him and he stays injury free for most of the rest of his career? Pathetic to suggest we sell!

Just because he has a different opinion to yours and talks shitt most of the time doesn't mean he's right.
That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

didn't benteke spend 6 months on the sidelines recently? and miss out on the world cup too? he's had his fair share of injuries since arriving in the PL.
so let me get this straight, lets sell a top striker who fits in well at the club purely because he occasionally gets injured?
then go and sign a striker for quadruple the fee, who might not even fit in, who is also prone to injury on occasion?
logic 101 right there
