3 very simple and obvious reasons why this will never happen

1. he plays for man u, obviously a rival. the last time we tried to do business with them and sign heinze, we got taken to court. they will not, and we should never look to do business with each other, ever.

2. he's old and it goes way beyond our transfer strategy of signing fairly young players

3. don't get me wrong, he's got obvious natural talent, but he's been p!ss poor ever since his first season at united and doesn't really fit our system

He is a great goalscorer but too old and injury prone again.

Was a good bit of business when they signed him and they got a bit of luck because he stayed fit for a couple of seasons and took the heat off Shrek.

He was the one player to sign at the time to win the league and they did it cheaply.

Would I want to see him in a Liverpool shirt?
Absolutely not !
