Interesting read, enough to sway a negative opinion of Benteke. I must admit i always got scared when he has the ball in the 18, because there is always an 80-90% chance he will score. Can I ask, which variables did you consider whilst calculating that percentage? That is just MY personal opion.

They should just spend that money earmarked for Benteke on a decent midfielder such as Kovacic or an actual DM. Throw Lucas and Allen in that deal plus cash for Kovacic.
Use Balotelli no one wants to sign him anyway, sell Borini and Lambert. Give Ings, Origi a fair crack and let's stop signing players for the sake of it. BR doesn't have a clue what a decent striker is anyway. Or save that money until Jan when ol' pirly whites will be out the door. Midfield is the priority and Milner is not the answer.

And similarly you can make a case for Borini, Lambert and Balotelli. The main difference would be that they do not score enough goals but the first two also never played. And the last one had to fit a Suarez role which he will never be able to and he is a lazy [oops].

And similarly you can make a case for Borini, Lambert and Balotelli. The main difference would be that they do not score enough goals but the first two also never played. And the last one had to fit a Suarez role which he will never be able to and he is a lazy [oops]. Borini and Lambert are not up to it, nothing to do with not being played. They were played enough to see what they offer.

I still think there are better option then benteke and at 32.5 thats way too much
