Supposedly kept both Kane and Ings from scoring in the under 21's game. Will this kid ever get a fair crack or will he come in be assessed and be replaced by another Lovren?

we have a lot of good young defenders and some terrible young defenders.

Llori looks good so chances are he'll be loaned out again until the end of his contract and never play a game for us.

He has an alou diarra feel about him.

Ilori has a chance of breaking through to me to be honest. Looks a much better prospect than Coates ever has playing for our club at any level, or when he has been loaned out.

We will never see him in a red shirt but he will go on to be a decent defender for another club.

He also went on to Granada and Bordeaux and made mistakes. Yes all player make mistake especially young players, but he's making too many fatal ones at the moment.

Might be the reason why we want this Gomez fella.

Why would we need to replace a guy who has never played or never got near the first team? Just a waste of money. We do a lot of that at the minute.

If that was the case and the measure our defenders were judged against then the whole lot from Toure, to Lovren, Sahko and Skrtels should all be out the door.

I watched him for Bordeaux (admittedly only once) and he got caught out for a goal and on quite a few occasions. Nothing in that game suggested he'd be good enough to start for us.
