We can be linked with every other strikers and buy 4 more and that will not make a difference. If Brendan does play a recognized strikers and play to that striker or strikers strengths we will have more Aspas', Borini's, Balotelli' and Lamberts to flog come January or end of the season. If the powers that be do not buy players that will fit the "system" we will have more square pegs in round holes.
Suarez created chances for himself out of nothing and that is aprt of the reason he flourished, add to that Sturridge and STerling as they could exploit the spaces created when Suarez was marked by three of four defenders.
I do not even believe Sturridge create chances for himself when fit because he tends to overplay the ball too much and at times his decision making in and around the box is off. The best thing we can hope for is that Origi will get playing time and will improve, BR actually said he will be WC lol, that said he was voted in the worst team recently in League 1. Will Ings be played or will we play two up front? Who knows?
noun [oops]·trar·i·an \kən-ˈtrer-ē-ən, kän-\. If all else fails say that word outstanding a couple of times. The more you do the more you will believe your own spin.

He manages to get good performances out of other manager's signings but he clearly doesn't have an eye for a player.

Very true and as said before Darcus by many here, in a team that by and large doesn't compete at the top end of the market any signing has to have a higher chance of success, and be of equal quality than anyone we are thinking of knocking out of the Top 4 come next summer.
The Rogers cheer boys seem completely oblivious to this and instead prefer to believe in fairy dust.

I know some people still defend him but I think it must be something they do just to wind people up. No one can seriously still think he's the right man for the job.

I'd rather Chelsea be paying him nearly £300k a week for 4 goals than us! Well, it could also be that he scores much more than 4 goals, I think he will.

Great signing for Chelsea. Doing business in an intelligent manner. Interesting that they chose not to target a big name being chased by many clubs and happily took a quality player that had fallen away in the past 18 months. Certainly should show his ability at Stamford Bridge under Mourinho. Excited to see how he does. Think the slander for the player has been misplaced. He's far from the only striker to underwhelm at Old Trafford this season.

I think it was reported as that much at Monaco but I doubt it now. Easily over £200k though I'd imagine.
