Looking at our squad size we defintely need to get rid of a bunch of players. We have 7 center backs, and again 7 strikers on the payroll.

Goal keepers:
22. Mignolet and Bogdan

Central Defenders:
16. Coates, 26. Ilori, 17. Sakho, 47. Wisdom, 37. Skrtel, 4. Toure, 6. Lovren

Right and Left Backs
3. Enrique, 18. Moreno, 19. Manquillo, 38. Flanagan

Midfielders
21. Lucas, 14. Henderson, 23. Can, 24. Allen and Milner

Attacking midfielders
33. Ibe, 10. Coutinho, 20. Lallana, 50. Markovic, 31. Sterling
- Alberto

Strikers:
15. Sturridge, - Origi, Ings, 45. Balotelli, - Aspas, 9. Lambert, 29. [s]Borini[/s]

I assume that the players are safe what do we expect to get for the ones that might move on? With all FSG's issues to get the wage bill down is this not wasteful expenditure to keep such and inflated number of players?

If they all contribute it's not wasted expenditure. But if they are out of the side completely then yes.

Keep sterling and get rid of Lambert in my opinion, otherwise yeah agree with what you've said

Ilori, skrtel and balotelli will be gone too.

Aspas has already left, in fact sevilla have already sold him to celta Vigo
