West Ham have the entire of the East end.
Have you also noticed the strategy they are employing, a West Ham ticket will cost less than tickets for Leyton Orient.
Nab the fans from lower league teams in your area, give cheap tickets for youngsters, that is your fanbase enlarged for you.
In a couple of years we will be a midtable team, 7th at best.
Look at Leeds Utd and Forest, we are heading the same way.

With a new stadium they will get bigger crowds, more revenue, more funds to spend on players.
Again the London attraction.
I agree they will be a bigger team than us in 10 years time.
Once Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea join the European league, which will happen during the next 10 years, we will still find it impossible to win the Premier league with Spurs, West Ham above us. Capacity is only 54000 so ticket prices would have to be mental to get the money in to pay the top players they'd need. Long term it puts them on a good footing but unless they get some major investment from outside, I think they'll still fall short.

Can't say where the Hammers will be in 10 years but for sure we are heading in the wrong direction. 10 more years of this and no one will see Liverpool as a "big" club. We'll be like City and Newcastle.

Not nonsense at all.
Look at the quality players who sign for Spurs, Lloris, Erikson etc, all due to the lure of London, Spurs have not won anything and rarely finish above us.
Consider West Ham, spanking new Stadium, attraction of London, a manager with a worldwide reputation as a player, and experience of managing all over Europe and internationally.
I give it a couple of seasons before West Ham overtake us.
Unless we get new owners.
simple stuff go and support WHUFC , and i will support liverpool through thick and thin .

All Premier league teams are getting bundles of cash with the new TV deal.
Some teams will spend it, being in London, having a new ground will attract top players.
Some teams will not spend it, us, some owners will not even give any money to the club they own, us.
So the capacity of the Olympic stadium is not relevant, what is relevant is how much of the TV money is invested in the team.
Now I have more faith that Gold, Sullivan being West Ham supporters will spend more than our Boston Red Sox supporting owners.
It is fairly obvious that before the next 10years West Ham will be above us, Spurs as well.
That puts us at 7th in the Prem at best, 8th if Everton improve.

Of course capacity is relevant and if they're not getting the most from it by under cutting smaller teams in the area they won't make the most of it. Global fan base is also important from a shirt sales etc. point of view too which they don't have.

The fundamental point is you can have mega deals with krusty creme, Chevrolet, shirt sales etc, makes not one iota of difference of your owners are not prepared to spend the money.
And the West Ham strategy of offering low ticket prices is designed to get the next generation of fan for that club, start then young and you have them for life.

Gold and Sullivan don't have the money to take them any where. They'd need mega money from tickets, which they won't get by doing them cheap, and mega sponsorship deals to get anywhere near the money they need to pay well over £100k a week for players. While they're trying to do that, the ECL teams will keep getting richer and will keep their grip on the top 4.

6 - 0 what? There is no right or wrong in this as none of us know what will happen. So how can that be a win for you?
