Winning things brings major revenue, not only in the money from championships but from ticket sales, merchandising etc. they'd make the money they put in over.

Decent signing for free even though compensation pending. Rather have Ings than aspos, Borini, Lambert and even Sterling! At least he wants to play here and can see him doing well at the club. Good luck lad!

There might be no incentive to take us forward but there's less to let us slip any further down than we are.

It does but with the amount of tv money even for finishing bottom in the premier league and players wages and the amount you could lose by poor signings (carroll still hurts) then the marginal benefit to success may not cover the marginal cost

but we dont play 3rd 4th string strikers. we leave them on the fckin bench to rot while a bunch of midfielders pass the ball around the goal wondering what to do next

Danny Ings stats:

Bournemouth 27 games (7 goals)
Dorchester, loan, 9 (4)
Burnley 122 (38)

Hope he steps up to the plate now, because I'm afraid these stats are a bit iffy.

Good luck though, Danny!
