Underwhelming, I know he is young etc. but are we really only able to sign players of his quality.

Decent signing on a free as a 3rd/4th choice striker, as long as we get in another striker to go straight into the first team

The problem remains we have Aspas, Borini, Lambert, Ings, Balotelli and Sturridge - who will actually play with Brendan's liking for playing players out of position and Sterling as striker. Ings and Sturridge are surely now main strikers IMO and who are we selling and when?
What are our ambitions this season? What sense is there in the signing of Milner and Ings. We are also linked with out of contract Bolton goalkeeper Adam Bogdan, who the hell is he and how good is he.
It seems we are deluded to think that anyone major will join us and that the season will be over before it even began.

bogdan played well against us and is cheap so we sign him. its quiet clear this summer is going to be a cheap one. absolutely no chance of top 4.

so is that the scouting now one game playing well against us and you are a Liverpool player. We probably need to sign the whole Stoke team then shouldn't we?

Is there any chance of top half I'm beginning to wonder? Looks like they've finally taken the mask off and revealing their true identity. Prepare for the fan revolt if as I now suspect we're going to sign nobody of any note at all. This could be the pivotal season in our long decline I fear, hope I'm wrong but it has all the hallmarks.

I would have Aspas and Borini over a nomad burnley centre forward, all day long. We are a joke, this is now at the point where it is actually laughable.

Is he 3rd or 4th tho ? We don't know the plan I can't see us signing a big name sadly no way is he coming as 3rd or 4th..he is coming to play,lets not kid ourselves here.

Aspas, Borini, Lambert, Ings, Balotelli, Origi and Sturridge and that shows exactly why the scouts, transfer committee and BR should not be near any transfers ever again.
£60 million spent excluding salaries on strikers - only Sturridge has performed for one season and a bit. The first three on the list never got a chance to play so who knows history might repeat itself and Ings will not get a game.
