Have you ever seen him play? I agree if we're talking starting 11 but he's clearly not that and will offer more than Lambert and Borini.

I haven't but I don't need to, to make a judgement on bottom of the league striker. We can't just applaud every signing. Its little improvement if any. I think he will fail same as Lambert and co. We must aim higher and get the right predatory striker in to help Sturridge.

Assuming that Lambert, Borini and Mario are off I would figure Ings to be our new 3rd or 4th choice striker. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Well from what I've seen he looks better and if he's back up then it's a good signing. Don't see why he'd be written off before he's even signed though?

he's a good player is ings, much better than lambert,borini and balotelli.
