How have Lallana and Allen been utterly terrible signings? Both have played consistently better than Emre Can this season who seems to get a lot of plaudits. If Allen was terrible he would be on the scrapheap with Borini and Lambert barely playing. Lallana has done all right just that everybody get wound up about the price tag.

Because I have a different opinion to you I am trolling.

Ask them to play at right of defence and then compare. Can has hardly been played in his favoured position unlike Allen and Lallana.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I'm afraid your fighting a losing battle with ridiculous statements like this.

No because you're saying Allen and Lallana have been good signings. Lallana would have been bad value for money even if he was 10 million cheaper

Sorry but for the cash we spent on him,lbanana has been the worst of the new signings along with Lovren.

This goes waaaaaay beyond opinion. That has got to be the best I've seen on here ever.

Can has been better than Lallana and Allen, and that comment actually undermines what I believe to be quite true, that a lot of fans don't see value in Allen and Lallana when they've been far from our worst performers this season. There are at least 8/9 other players worth mentioning before looking at Allen and Lallana who have been inconsistent but at least contributed in more than a handful of games this season.

For the OP, the guy is obviously excited to work with him, and has happily been away on loan at an under-performing club before arriving. He may have been OTT but give the guy a break. At least he's coming here wanting to win the league and driven to work for the man at the helm.

Lovren was on the bench at Stoke on the last day of the season, Skrtel and Sakho started in the middle, then Kolo Toure came on at half time.
