That's my point, that's what they care about.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

[quote=cjkent]To be honest i have never been as worried for the season ahead as now. [/quote

Agreed. It's the first time in ages that I've felt this way. There have been many times when I knew we weren't going to win anything, but we still had exciting players and were entertaining to watch so I always looked forward to the season ahead.

Now we have owners that cannot afford to make us a big club again, a manager that doesn't seem capable, and a squad of players where a lot of them are nowhere near good enough for premier league football let alone a club with ambitions of joining europe's elite.

It's a new low point.

This is the only point that matters....

Fsg no for a fact....if the club is successful on the pitch, they will have to dig deep into their Swiss accounts to buy and pay top wages for class players....

Average, poor players are two 2 a penny....and very cheap compared to the top end players ....

They also know that the required costs to win the league do not outweigh the prize money on offer. Financially, it the EPL isn't worth winning and because they have no attachment to the club they have no desire to see success if it leaves them out of pocket.

Mark my words, next season our rivals will be spurs, swansea & southampton and we will be singing players of the calibre that is usually associated with those clubs. We are now seen as a stepping stone club to bigger things.

Bit optimistic.
