The way the media is going, we heading for new coach, new investment.

Some media running with the story DIC is coming back, other media run with the story Hodgson taking over from Rafa.

I would suspect teh coach is gone, cos the way the players turned out today, its almost as though they just went through the motions and didnt care bout the result.

Our broadcast didnt show the final lap of the players, i don know if they even did that, im curious to see the fans reaction to the coach.

i hope we learnt and dont repeat the same crap mistakes we did when we changed houllier.

I anxious for the summer, see what changes. I suspect we going sell plenty dead wood

It mentioned Roy Hodgson in the papers today how would you feel about him possibly taking over? I think a change is definately needed, not just the manager, from boardroom downwards!

Roy would be good but i think we need a moer continental approach to our game...

We need to get the players to pass and move...Currently we cant pass and cant move.

A less continental approach would be what we have been doing. launching the ball to Fernando and hoping he does magic. We would to go that with 5'6 Mikey.

We need to pass the ball better. and currently we just dont have the players to do that. In fact, our short passing and ball retention became slightly better when Maxi settled in. Imagine a team with more ball players.

I want to see a manager who understands what it takes to win the Prem. I want a manager who knows what his best team is and pretty much sticks with it, week in, week out. I want to see a positive approach to all matches from the kick-off, not when we go behind. I would like to see better defending at set-pieces (I might start another thread on that topic..!!). I want a manager who does not play players out of position unless absolutely necessary.

Mr Benitez fails on all of these points, IMHO.

i want someone who understands Liverpool, the demands of playing a managing liverpool, the pride in wearing the shirt.

Unfortunately very few foreigners understand the passion of LFC and the fans love for LFC.

Murinho i cant doubt his credentials, but he is not the type to set up for 10 years at a club, he moves much.

I want a new paisley. thats what i wish for.

Prefer a english or scot, but in todays game things have changed soooo much, that we might have to settle for a foreign man.

Whoever comes in should have good intimate knowledge of a the transfer markets and can attract big players.

I hope the new man can convince torres and reina to stay.

i would love love if kenny can bring back the old days, but im not s sure he is willing to take the first team on.

I get the impression he is content with the kids, cultivating the LFC way at the academy.

Can't disagree with you, Joe. Alex McLeish, anyone? Unproven and inexperienced, yes but has the passion of a Scot and will have learned much under Demento at Aberdeen. It will be interesting to see how his career goes over the next couple of seasons.
