Agree, no manager will slate a new signing. I'm just trying to establish whether managers go as fas as BR seems to. Rememeber the Welsh Xavi thing which G loves to remind us of? grin

And then going on from that, the next question is whether it is intentional on BRs part (i.e. he's a snake oil merchant) or whether he is simply innocently deluded/a very poor judge of players.

I think he goes that one step further in his praise for them or it seems that way. I don't really pay much attention to what others say about their signings but it's a bit much what Rodgers has said. But it's easy to take the pias now they've all failed.

We are always the only ones bidding for the players we identified. Allen, borini, lovren, lallana, etc which other big clubs were link with them? None. Except us.
