Time for the club to show some balls and show the c*nt who's boss.

Personally I would love to let him earn his 35k/wk for the next 2 years and let him rot in the reserves.

Hmmm, actually we don't. Let's see how this plays out there are a few billionaire egos who may get a tad bruised if they feel a 20 year old employee and his mouthy lacky are forgetting their place.

You never know with this kind of thing and this is looking way worse than the Suarez drama.

Load of fuss about nothing. So what if he may/may not want to play his football elsewhere? Everytime a player wants to move on from LFC, the fans are up in arms as if he has 'betrayed them' or 'stabbed them in the back'. It won't be long now before someone comes out with the classic..."no player is bigger than the club"!

If players want to play on a bigger stage, who can blame them? It's their choice, not ours. It's our failings as a club that are the driving force, nothing else.

The only players I hold grudges against for leaving LFC are Michael Owen as he forced us into accepting a reduced offer due to letting his contract run down. Steve McManaman for leaving on a free when the club could have got a massive transfer fee for him. Fernando Torres for joining an arch rival in Chelsea!

I'd also say Mascherano to some extent, he pretty much forced through a move to Barcelona. He did however keep playing for the shirt until he left.

There are ways to handle an exit, Sterling has been a c***, as has his agent during the whole process and he hasn't turned in a good performance for LFC for a long time which hasn't helped.

Alonso, Arbeloa and Suarez left the right way and nobody holds it against them, they also gave their all for the club prior to leaving, something Sterling clearly hasn't done.

Nothing to "get" - just a difference of opinion. I don't see fans of other clubs going nuts when someone wants to move on yet we seem to be doing it nearly every year.
It seems to be purely an LFC thing - and the only explanation for that is because the fans think we are a lot bigger than really are and get offended when a player thinks that another club might be better for them. Get over it.

You let sterling and his agent climb all over the club and you set a dangerous precedence for the other players. It's as simple as this.

It's not what you think.

"Climb all over the club" - come on now, you're being a bit 'precious'.
