Congratulations on the awards this year wee Phil!
Got the vote from Stevie, God, Henderson etc and well deserved.
He's been immense this season and looks like he loves Liverpool FC as much as we all love him.

Definitely should build the team around this young lad but I still can't figure out which position I'd like to see him in.

Assuming next season we play a 433 we probably have the majority of our first team, just awaiting 2-3 quality players to fit in.

Pochettino recently came out and said that our Phil could be as good as Messi and he's not wrong really.

Look at how Messi operated this season, being left footed, he starts wide right but you often see him dropping into the midfield to pick the ball up and operating as a number 10.
At times he will pick the ball up just in front of the center halves and dribbling and creating from before halfway.

Would you prefer to see Cou play as a Messi-lite starting from the left wing and roaming where he likes or see him as one of the center midfielders with more options in front of him but a more disciplined role?

Alright, not recently.
Though, point remains that they can play a very similar game despite Messi's extreme acceleration.

Well messi he wont be as that guy is a freak of talent but he should be our david silva
