I said in my original post that the team player for player has regressed.

This is the worst Liverpool squad I have ever seen, assembled at a cost of over £200m.

Six weeks ago our manager told us we were going to finish 2nd and now we seem to be happy with fifth.

I dread the thought of this man and his mysterious committee being given more money to squander on potential players.

I'd like to add that to be fair to FSG, I think they're on the right track in terms of marketing and commercial revenues. The new main stand would stand us in good stead for years to come.

I still think that they should have appointed a proven manager, even rafa, for their project.

I think it's clear that when it came to the crunch, BR made rookie mistakes esp. in cup games, and we don't really have time for that if we want to be up there in the top 4.

we should not have sacked kenny. went for the shiny new thing in the window when kenny's methods hit a slight bump. kenny knows the mechanics of football, we looked more professional mourinho like under him and yes it got dull but another transfer window and we would have been rite up there.

Kenny's team was guaranteed to hit the post or bar every match.

They weren't stronger. You're just letting your negativity about this current squad and Rodgers cloud your judgement of it.

Yet it's still doing better than Kenny's last LFC team that just about scraped into 8th place thanks to goal difference over Fulham?

Please explain how today's team is worse than the team of 2011/12!?
