See what i mean. And if true they could agree a fee within weeks, while we still pondering over the idea.

It's the Metro.

As i said if true. It will make sense because Falcao will be gone and it looks like Van Persie's days at Man are over.

I'd be very surprised if most of Europes elite weren't looking at him this summer. He'll no doubt go for a lot more than we'd be willing to spend but you never know.

That would be my guess too. What is concerning though is that he is the Dutch league's top scorer....we're desperate for a scorer....and could have got him for less than we paid for Lallana!!!! Being a left winger/forward, our suppose lack of interest must mean that Sterling is staying whether he likes it or not. But WHY weren't we interested in Depay??

If we could't land Depay then we have even less chance of getting Lacazette who is more well known, plays in a better league & scores more goals. His value will be £40m plus I think and has apparently already been watched by some of the biggest teams in europe. When you're spending £40m on a player, the chances of his wages being £60k per week are slim-to-none. I don't think we should waste our time even talking about Lacazette.

There have been links to so many strikers, the only disappointment is when you spend all the time thinking it HAS to be that one player, because the chances are always slim. We've been linked to everyone from Benteke to Aubameyang to Lacazette to Benzema. Ultimately, we want two finishers, one of them proven and a signing of intent. I have faith we'll sign someone, and I'm more sure it'll be one of the four mentioned above than most of the other names.

it is probably anyone's guess as to what happens when we start looking at targets. For a team that need goals urgently to not look at the Dutch Leagues top scorer raises some questions.

If all else fails say that word outstanding a couple of times. The more you do the more you will believe your own spin.

If we could offer him that 150k to compete with others and he decides to go elswhere than at least we would've tried, but know we will read that we did without even bidding.

I think it will be Ings and Origi, and that's it for this summer.

That's what I call intent! smile
