We need to improve the squad and the tendency will probably not be to splash the cash as we are not making the CL. Players are available and will not cost us mountains of cash.
Alex Song
Song started superbly with the Hammers after signing on loan from Barcelona, who will not stand in the way of a summer departure. He is a Liverpool and Steven Gerrard supporter and can slot into that quarterback role.
Filipe Luis
Filipe Luis is a solid left-back, and his contract is running down and should be available at cut price or free. He can teach Moreno to defend.
Theo Walcott
The England winger’s contract expires in 2016, and he’s a boyhood Liverpool fan. When Sterling goes he can he be a replacement?
James Milner
We’re 4/6 favourites to secure Milner, who’s yet to renew his contract at the Etihad. On a free transfer, his signing seems a no-brainer our midfield is weak and he can be a less glamorous replacement for Steven Gerrard .
Asmir Begovic
Begovic can’t even get in the Stoke side right now, and would jump at a move. He’s been linked countless times in the past, and would provide stiff competition for Simon Mignolet between our sticks, considering Brad Jones seems to be on his way out.
Saido Berahino
The youngster is West Brom’s best player by some distance with 18 goals so far this season in all competitions to replace Borini.
Danny Ings
Ings is available on a free, and we’re favourites to sign him. He’s only 23-years-old, and has notched 10 Premier League goals for hapless Burnley to replace Ricky / Mario. I hope it's the latter.
