OP imadk Under 23 Player Joined: Apr 2013 Posts: 3,908	If you could change the result of a single football game, what would it be and why? I'd personally reverse the result of last season's game vs. Chelsea. Had we won -or even drawn- that game, the history books would have been rewritten and our future as a football club would have been redefined. This is my firm belief.

He was playing to our strength which was attacking. If we'd have sat back and invited them onto us, they would easily have scored anyway as our defence was crap. The score I'd change would be the 2007 ECL final.

If we had won that game and gone on to beat Utd in the final, there would have been no Slur Alex and football wouldn't have only existed post 1993. Still can't believe we lost that game....

Cup games, however important, do not have any implications for the future. Now games that decide league titles are a different story.
