when we kept the ball down and tried to pass the ball a bit aquilani was the best player on the pitch but every time carra gets it he just hoves it, carra has gotta go rafa admitted last night he has to buy half a new team, only half rafa? rafa lost us that game if johnson played right back we would have won 4/5-1 but no lets mess around with everything for no reason and then not fix it during the game and then lets bring on el zhar (who shouldnt even be in the squad) instead of pacheco and then give pacheco so little time he barely has enough time to get a touch of the ball never mind actually getting into the game properly i would still love rafa to be a success more than any other manager but the man is a tool

Can you guarantee that if rafa makes subs that are more in line with your thinking, that we would have won the game?
Johnson made a crap header, it defelcted in the path of the oppostion he crossed it into the box, and forlan scored.
We were the better team, we were beaten.
Tough luck, 2 games left for this season from hell to finish.
one more thing joe if Lucas was that much of a reliable replacement for alonso then there was no need of aqua ....
could have got a striker instead... nope, Lucas does not deserve the LFC shirt, based on the players we were linked with during that window when he bought aquilani, Van der Waart, Robben, he was surely looking at additions. But all the money from alonso sale wasnt given to him to spend. He bought Johnson and Aqulani with Soto. If you recall he wanted to buy a defender to cover for sami, the board told Rafa he only had two million. So based on what he had i.e. 2,million he bought kyriakos. if you watched much of the latter stages of the champ league you would have noticed how many players playing in those teams were at some point, linked, rumoured or followd by rafa, to name a few. Robben, Alves, Simao Sabrosa, Sidney Govu, Diego Milito etc. joe i hope not this situation occurs again but he will still be moaning for a dozen players ..selling them in december or next window...and the story continues... hes a dumb not to screw madrid...he cud have got a couple from madrid as a swap deal...but God knows what was he looking for there.he got no fooking clue what hes been messing around with transfers..because of the blind trust he got from fans ...the liverpool way... only to end up moaning in the end that he wasnt given all the money from Alonso's sale..Thank God they didnt ...end of Wherever you are mate, i dont know, either abu dhabi, or karachi, dera ismail khan or even teh swat vally, i hope you watching this game and you can see what aquilani can do, watch his passes, watch his one touch moves, he is a pure italian, you can see by the speed he passes and moves, that the boy has got quality. Did you see the one touch triangle passes between stevie, aqulani and kuyt???? This is just a glimpse, its only one game, but you can see the boys potential. Bring on the pizza and the pasta, ehhhh pah! like i said to you before, you and me are not privvy to the info as to his exact status and condition, and the reasons behind why rafa doesnt play him often. Another thing to point out, if you saw the print and tele media you would have noticed that rafa and the media made it look as though Babel would lead the line alone. But the real true story is that the backroom knew kuyt wold be ready, misleading the athletico boys. Then another trick was to move mascherano to defence:)Thus far, we are in the driving seat, we need keep our head and score more, i dont want a long extra time night, cos we got take on john terry sunday.
mind u ... i got no problem with aqua playing...and it never was..point being if hes fooking sitting on the bench why not in the starting eleven,,,,,its u who's missing the point...and about that media thingy,,,who cares what affected and what not,,,scoreline says it all...everyone knew kuyt will be playing for sure..

Tough luck, 2 games left for this season from hell to finish. first off johnson made a crap header because he lacks confidence playing at left back ..... he is not comfortable and it showed all night - was a ridiculous decision .... almost as bad as the one to play mash at right back so he could go missing when he should have been round on the cover to stop forlan getting that chance if rafa had made the right subs, at the right times, atletico wouldn't have got back on top ...... changing his mind about bringing on pacheco while we had momentum sent out the wrong message and made the players drop back a yard or two in order to try and hold onto a lead instead of looking to increase it rafa's mentality of just doing enough to not lose has cost us yet again - it cost us the title last season, this season it is going to cost us champions league footie as well as any chance of silverware

I think the bottom line is we didnt score enough to win. yea.
