A top owner who got himself a top manager who got himself top players who got their fans the top prize. We have mediocre owners, a mediocre manger and mediocre players who will struggle to get to the Europa League. The pity though is that we are ten times the football club that Chelsea is and this makes it a pill that much more difficult to swallow.

Agree imadk. It's far too easy to take a pop at Chelsea without giving the recognition like it or not that the club is the best run model NOW in the league. I believe they have actually made a profit or positive balance on transfers for the last accounting year; something no one else has managed to do.

They have been refining not only who they buy and sell but what appears value/quality the last couple of years and if anyone could take a number of leaves out of their book on how to do things it's FSG and their shambles of a staff.

Abromovic is a complete nob and Maureen is nothing more than a rich mans Allardyce. The way he plays the game speaks volumes about that. All those attacking players yet he's scared to take on the top teams instead he just parks his chav bus and hopes for a goal.

Agree about our owners though.

Not having that Wilks. Maureen had them playing some fantastic football in the first half of the season and has of late shut it down to ensure the trophy.

What speaks volumes is the fact that no other manager is capable of unlocking their game and beating them when they know in the important games or patches of the season they play tight.

I'd prefer a Liverpool side who have the ability to switch it around as Chelsea do and be Champions than be looking at 7th or 8th place, another false dawn and more years in the wilderness.

Haven't we all had a gut full of that mate?

I think this is a little harsh, they have scored the second most Premiership goals this season, behind Man City I believe.

They beat us at Anfield and conceded late equalisers at Old Trafford and the Etihad. They have also beaten Arsenal and Man Utd at home and drew against City meaning they are unbeaten against their main rival, I fully expect them to beat us next weekend as well.

They have players like Hazard, Oscar and Fabregas who are brilliant at going forward.

Chelsea are able to mix it up, they are rock solid defensively and can grind out results when they need too, it's about winning and you can't play wonderful attractive football every week.

Unfortunately, and it saddens me to say, they are easily the best and strongest team in this country.

They are 13 points clear, second highest scorers and have conceded the fewest goals in the league.

They are a top side and they have an excellent manager.
Dare I say it, they have been outstanding and he has shown great courage.

Cannot argue with that. There is the fortune of getting the sugar daddy at a time with no FFP though. It could have been any decent PL club going for cheap at the time, but they are doing fantastically well and all the sniping at them and their manager (one of the best in the world, ever), is most probably born out of jealousy. How we would love to be in their shoes, and with our already massive fanbase we would grow even quicker than them.

And on top of that we can also conclude that their turn to a more defensive minded game coincided with their top forward Costa getting injured...

Chelsea are doing no more than what they SHOULD be doing considering the investment there over the years. And there's no one that can change my opinion on Maureen. Rich mans Allardyce is all he is and all he will ever be.
