KopTalk.com Forums Football Liverpool FC Forum Quick Poll - Should Rodgers be given the boot........

Can you blame him? Rodgers royally fcuked up with the Real Madrid away game, I still cannot believe he dropped everyone and insulted the Champions League as a competition, who does he think he is?

And Gerrard wasn't in the squad last night so he can't be blamed again!

To be fair, the team that played the away leg did a LOT better than the anfield game so his selection was justified.

Erm we lost 1-0, strange justification that.

If he had done that in the Premiership we would have been fined like Blackpool were a few years ago for fielding a weakened team.

And no the selection wasn't justified because in the next game which was Chelsea at home in the league, Rodgers chose to play all the so called first teamers who had been left out in Madrid.

And how did we do in the home tie.......? Oh, that's right we got spanked 3-0 using our 'so-called' better team.

Thats got nothing to do with the point I'm making.

Is Rodgers selection was justified as you say, why didn't he stick with the same players for the following league game against Chelsea?

His team selection in the following game proved that he rested players in the Champions League which is unforgivable.

So a 1-0 defeat is worth boasting about.

Remember when we used to have ridiculously high expectations and hope to win games.

The point is that Rodgers threw in the towel in the Champions League, almost like he wanted us to get knocked out early.

YES, hes not the new Ferguson FFS! even though the rose tinted brigade have been licking his ass for the last 3 years!

Of course he wanted us to get knocked out, he can only do one thing that's why he was good at Swansea!!!
