What about those small round things they call footballs?

Steve Nichol might disagree with that.

I think it will, i defended BR after the villa defeat but now my opnion is started to change. This oppotunity, having Klopp and Benitez avaliable could not happen again for a number of years. If there is no change this summer i feel we could be in for another summer of over priced 'future stars' and just general poor signings. the 4 above us all have respectable managers and on top of that, CL football. Without either to offer i fear we could find ourselves back where we were 3/4 years ago, playing catch up to the new big 4, with Tottenham biting at our ankles.

Unfortunately I think last summer will define the next few seasons (inc this one). Suarez is obvious a massive talent, but no player is worth 75 million pounds. That's why when you sell someone for this crazy amount, you have an opportunity to buy 2 or 3 players for that amount that actually can make the team as good or better. We no longer have any player that will even hit market price let alone above market price, so we will not being seeing the dizzying heights of being the second highest spenders in the league again, thus we ruined our chance (a relatively easy to take chance) of securing a champions league spot for the next couple of years which incidentally awards a lot more money than it did last year for qualification.

We had a fantastic and guilt edged opportunity at the beginning of last summer, and Rodgers along with the committee buttf!cked it AGAIN. Our problems have resulted from being the worst at buying players in the league, season after season. Then compounded by other failures. But to answer your question, unless FSG change tactics and are willing to pay large wages to secure quality manager and players, then last summer was our defining moment and they failed us all miserably, something I in fact said as it was happening.
