Think we could play Stevie in wide are with license to roam. Johno gives us width at home anyway. That way we'd have Stevie/ aqua/yossi/pacheco all supporting Babel. Can't see a cleansheet so we'll Need goals. 3-1 win!

According to the two links above, Rafa might go with Aquaman or Dani upfront!

A usually reliable source ( according to Oliver Kay ) is claiming that Gerrard, Aquilani, Babel, Benayoun and Kuyt will all start tonight!

Seems a pretty attacking line up to me I'm predicting we'll put 8 past them.

This line up also means that the likes of Pacheco have more chance of playing an important role of the bench if needed because of the injury to Ngog.

Normally agree Murph but goals from Kuyt ?! 1 goal in 19 games doesn't fill with confidence. Would rather see Pacheco from the start. Kuyt is shocking at the moment. Worst touch in prem and his inability to maintain possession is an embarrassment. People say he works hard but is that to be expected at this level?! It baffles me he's in red and that comes from a Lucas fan
Hope we do it but not sure we can keep them quiet. Hoping for a 3-1 win.

Kuyt always has a habit of popping up with an important goal or two and his work rate is what we need in a game like tonight as we need to get right at Atletico from the very first whistle tonight.

Pacheco is still an unknown quantity at this level and I'm not sure if I'd be that confident he'd find us the goals we need tonight. Tonights game maybe a season to soon for him.

Guess possession not that important so?! Hope he proves me wrong and bags a hat trick. I'll get behind him as always but think he's way off as a footballer. Maybe Stevie can hit it against his head like he did against Everton.It's a big night for big players.Let's hope we're big enough tonight. Reyes, Forlan, Aguera pretty big players as well is my worry...
