WAAAAYYYYY too inconsistent for my liking. He wouldn't get into any of the top 4 teams. what a totally ridilulas comment he is a top class player He 'can' be top class, and has played very well in most of our recent games. But he reminds me of Dave Silva....excellent for 5 or 6 weeks and then you barely see him for the next few months. That kind of inconsistency won't help us sustain form in a long campaign and therefore doesn't put him in the 'top class' bracket for me.

coutinho & sterling are great players
Sturridge would be too if he wasn't a sicknote
hendo & skrtel are top players
ibe has potential to be
the rest are take or leave them
no surprise that the vultures are circling for hendo,sterling and coutinho .

Who do you think is our most valuable player right now? The one with the best chance of becoming world class? The one the you want to keep for the next ten years?
Mine is Coutinho by the way. I don't think we have one consistently oustanding and would say the best we have are Coutinho, Sterling and Henderson. Sturridge has been too injury prone.

I thought Sturridge was again poor last night.
I know he is struggling with his fitness but we can't rely on him moving forward, his injury record confirms that. We need a couple of top strikers in the summer!

I never said he was. I was comparing their frustrating levels of inconsistency.
