Can we agree that looks like arye is for the axe Difficult to know who is responsible for out meltdown this season though the manager looks the most obvious, if he has a true managerial role of course Ayre is definitely leaving his position in the Summer, but he isn't being sacked, we are getting a DOF who will take over his role in the football side of things, Ayre is going to the states to do commercial business for FSG.

No name's have been given/leaked.
FSG wanted a DoF in the beginning, Rodgers refused, they gave him a chance to work without anything in place, he failed, they gave him a choice of a committee which he is the head of or a DoF, he chose the committee, they've ran out of patience with him and he has no choice now. FSG are hiring a DoF, whether Rodgers is here or not.
Just about all clubs in the world have DoF's in place, we are one of very few who don't.

I haven't actually said that Rafa is coming back, simply that he was in talks last Nov/Dec, but back then Napoli were still in all cups and had a chance of winning the league. He is desperate to come back, but no offer has been made as far as I'm aware. He has had quite a few offers elsewhere, in which he has refused. West Ham was the latest one, but they have apparently made a 2nd improved offer, as the first one wasn't anywhere near close. Man City have shown interest in him taking over on a 1 year deal only. Newcastle are also interested, but I can't see that happening.

well seems the story is true and was about Kolo Toure as the manager decided to have a go at him in front of the rest of the team.
The senior players tore strips’ off Rodgers in response.
So not a happy camp i would say, it needs sorting or it will get worse If the rumours are true, a few players were involved. Rodgers apparently kicked off that a few players aren't performing for him and he questioned why they aren't playing at the level they did for their former clubs.

how ye can blame rodgers is beyond me, do ye not think he has done wonders with the players he has to work with since he came in, and before ye say he bought this and that rubbish it is FSG who would,nt back him in the transfer market and left him to get his 3rd and 4th choice players, how many time were we trying to sign a top player only for us to hold out on the transfers hoping to get the players on the cheap and then loose out, same with gerrard , sterling and hendo contract why not tie them down when we were doing well, because they dont know notting about running a football club... That would be the job of the chief executive or chairman. If FSG are guilty of anything it is that they haven't appointed a decent board. I doubt that Mansour, Glazer or Abramovich know anymore about football than John Henry but they have all made good executive appointments to run the club for them. Pellegrini will probably be sacked despite winning the league last season, I suppose their executives know what they are doing. I can't really comment on City's executive board, based on what you think may happen to their manager in the summer!!
