Nope we need quality not quantity Well, jjmelling I think is saying that the quantity we bought will become quality when they settle after their first season, thus my question to him.

As each transfer window pasts I expect us to fall further behind.
We have an awful record.

how ye can blame rodgers is beyond me, do ye not think he has done wonders with the players he has to work with since he came in, and before ye say he bought this and that rubbish it is FSG who would,nt back him in the transfer market and left him to get his 3rd and 4th choice players, how many time were we trying to sign a top player only for us to hold out on the transfers hoping to get the players on the cheap and then loose out, same with gerrard , sterling and hendo contract why not tie them down when we were doing well, because they dont know notting about running a football club... That would be the job of the chief executive or chairman. If FSG are guilty of anything it is that they haven't appointed a decent board. I doubt that Mansour, Glazer or Abramovich know anymore about football than John Henry but they have all made good executive appointments to run the club for them.

Pellegrini will probably be sacked despite winning the league last season, I suppose their executives know what they are doing.

Do you think though that all will be fine, ie, we will be competing to win the league next season when everybody is settled?
I think the players will improve without a doubt, but after watching us resort back to our early / mid season form I have lost all faith in Rodgers. The performances recently have been awful to sit through, I've seen enough of Brendan Rodgers to know that getting rid is the best option.

Can we agree that looks like arye is for the axe Difficult to know who is responsible for out meltdown this season though the manager looks the most obvious, if he has a true managerial role of course

I try to think of who would make it into the current top 4's first 11 (bare in mind at least 2 of those teams are absolutely desperate for improvement we should have quite a few players right?).
Goalkeeper maybe Arsenal but not especially.
Defence, Can is a good prospect and Sakho would probably get into Utd's team because they're desperate for defenders but they certainly wouldn't pay much for him.
Midfield, coutinho would get on a bench. Hendo might get on one of their benches.
Forwards, currently no. Sturridge might get on a bench based on last year.
Not great reading.
