It does make me chuckle how a month or so back, Hendo wasn't good enough to take over from Gerrard as captain and to lead the club forward. Now he's worth £120k a week!! Sorry, meant 120k for Sterling and 100k for Hendo. However, taking over from Gerrard doesn't have anything to do with it

It's essentially a promotion Well, 100k will already be a huge increase in his wages which will cover for the promotion.

You's lot already know my disgusted feelings on this obscene subject.  New bladder yet again anyone please?  No pissing allowed, we can’t afford the pot. No probs Herc,Mr G to save the day. Yeah a decent sized bladder could save our financial blushes! When I was a kid (a thousand years ago!) I used to blow up newly butchered pig’s bladders, hang them in the shed to dry, and then use them as an improvised football. FSG might be interested in that technology methinks, save 'em a few bob on factory made balls! For a consideration I can let them have the blueprint!!

Hendo still isn't good enough to take over from Gerrard but under FSG what choice do we have? If Hendo is half the player that Rooney is (and I think he is) Then he's worth half the wage. Considering the club paid next to [oops] all (£30 Mill is [oops] all) for him then I think he should get the wage. PS.... for what it is worth I do not think any football player is worth £100K a week.... period

Yes if fsg have no intentions of upgrading the quality of the squad I don't mean add qty then it is very important we keep Hendo! but if there going to add some top class players in key positions I think this would automatically reign the necks in of sterling and Hendo there both good but we should not be held to ransom fsg should allow the class purchases to happen and the wages of said purchases this would leave the club in a stronger position re Hendo and sterling realistically we should be replacing stevie with a top class midfielder anyway ! that's needs to be first buy in summer and early that takes away hendos edge he has now, then a top class striker ! this all needs to be done in the 1st 4 weeks of the window and should be being planned and targets pinpointed now failure to do this is a real sign of fsg not being bothered to take us to the next level imo Just to know your opinion, would you be happier if we had bought those who were bought by United in the last window, ie, Di Maria, Shaw, Blind, their spanish midfielder (forgotten his name) and taken Falcao on loan instead of Lallana, Markovic, Moreno, Can, Blotelli and Lovren? The gross spending was quite close so we can compare.

Who in the premier league are the equivalents of Henderson and how much do they make? That's how we should be approaching the issue.
