In regards to Rafa don't even get me started on this season it has been one f*ck up after another for us, I even remember back in November when Benitez himself stated 'Aquilani is fit - he's training' and then said in another sentence 'Aquilani has to be fit to play' what is it, he's either fit or not fit!!

So, in one breath Benitez says Aquilani is fit, in the next, he backtracks and suggests he's not fully fit.

Which one is it? Is Aquilani fit or not?!

LFC superfans and the pro-Benitez brigade are trying their best to shout down anyone who questions the manager's excessive caution over Aquilani, using excuses like 'Benitez talks to the physios - you don't' and 'He was rushed back by Roma so Liverpool are not making the same mistakes' so why has he featured on the bench 24 times?.

And one last thing anybody who is classing this lad as either not good enough or a flop need to take a reality check he can't be deemed either for the plain and simple reason that he has'nt featured enough to be class as any of the above and when he has featured we have looked a totally different side to the one when old tunnel vision Lucas starts.

It's just so frustrating that it took nearly 1 season for rafa to see that. Aquaman is a creative player and will not do well in alonso's role. Obviously he's more suited to play in a more advanced role as opposed to Lucas' role. I mean, we can all see that but why couldn't rafa? And rafa's the one who spent 20m to buy him.

I'm starting to believe rafa kept aquaman on the bench because he thought he was a [oops] DM in alonso's role. But man, he's more than suited in the AM role!

He's the replacement for Torres.

Great reply that mate, cant think of anything more constructive other than a pathetic retort which leads me to believe that your general knowledge of football is very limited at best, if he'll end up at Fulham or Bolton then Lucas will end up at Gillingham or Millwall .
