Why do we have this obsession it appears with raking up negatives in regards players who no longer wanted to play for LFC ?

Lots of wild assumptions here. The actual reasons are 50% media (which he readily admits was largely down to his own stupidity), and 50% for family reasons - his wife and her family all live in Barcelona.

In the absence of any other credible evidence I’d normally take Suarez’s word for it, that he was driven out by the media witch hunt, and bearing in mind the apparent racial bias shown by the FA against him. However his reported readiness to opt for Arsenal raises a a question there, so unless that report was rubbish I have to take his statement with a couple of grains of salt!
