What an utter load of bollox. The press in Spain are hardly reserved are they. He just wanted to play for Barca (or Real) and there's not much wrong with that.

That's an absolute lie on his part. He wanted to go to a bigger club, more money, better chances of winning anything and everything. Better players, better run, better stadium, better everything. He wanted to move from Liverpool to Arsenal the year before as he saw it as a step up, he just wanted to move up.

Exactly BRK. Why not just say that? P1sses me off all these excuses players come out with for moving.

He sounds apologetic to Liverpool fans before his upcoming visit to Anfield.

2- better weather
3 - better chance of winning
4 - better players to play beside
5 - better looking girls in spain
