http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/footb...d-10083382.htmlPersonally i hope they stay away as i feel he could be tempted to leave and i feel we have a very very good manager albeit inexperienced. People say LFC shouldnt be the place where he learna his trade. I dont feel he is learning his with us but rather perfecting it. There is perhaps only 1 manager in the world i would swap BR for at the moment and that is Carlo Ancelloti. I wouldn't swap him for Simeone, Klopp or Maureen.

Both Simeone and Klopp have worked wonders with teams having less resources than us, so I take it that you are being emotional.

Its got nothing to do with me being emotional, i have no emotions towards Ancelloti. I simply realise the potential BR has imo. I much prefer the attractive football we play to the tough defensive tactics Simeone employs. I dont feel Klopp is a huge step up from BR and i do feel that if we changed BR for a manager who has never worked in the PL before we could face another 2-3 year setback whilst he adjusts to the nature of the EPL and beda in whatever new system and players he would bring in. As far as Maureen is concerned, as good a manager as he is, he epitomises everything that i hate about big money football and arrogance so i wouldn't want him anywhere near LFC. I suspect it is possible that you are misled to believe that just because BR isn't a big name manager yet, he wont be in the near future. Clubs like city dont come sniffing around a manager twice unless if they think you have what it takes to be a big name. Just look at city's set-up. The creme de la creme of football experts, coaches, managers, assistants and players. If they recognize BR's worth, perhaps those who don't should take another look.

Klopp has them within 5 points of the relegation places. Not sure how Koptalk would react if Liverpool were in that position...
We should be careful what we wish for. BR should get one more season even if we finish 5-7th. Bad start without our only world class player, some mistakes made, but rectified and we're the form team of 2015. The players seem to want to play for him and he's quite ruthless to those who don't.
We'll smash Utd at Anfield and wrap 4th up..

Not sure about smashing united etc but i think you are on to something hugely important there. The players seem to WANT to play for him, which is a massive, massive ingredient in any succesful side.

Haha, if Man City are actually interested in Rodgers I'd eat my hat. They are desperate to get further in Europe and Rodgers has shown he doesn't cut it (in fact massively fails) at that level so far. So why would they go for him? They can almost have any manager they want. So they'd go for someone who's done well in Europe.

How do you know they are desperate to get further in Europe. If that were the case, why hire Pellegrini? Despite one decent showing as Villareal manager what has he achieved in Europe?
Furthermore it is documented they approached BR to be Mancini's assistant in 2009. After 6 years and seeing him transform Liverpool whilst having his hands tied by FSG over transfers, why is it hard to believe that they think he could be a great manager given endless funds?
Why belittle our manager when he is again proving he is a very good manager albeit inexperienced? Why belittle the man who despite his inexperience had the balls to drop Gerrard when underperforming and drop , what was obviously a FSG wish, Balloteli. He dropped the captain and a player the owners wanted playing so he would increase his value, and imo those were 2 crucial decisions which brought about our turnaround.
That is a sign of a good manager.
Why shouldnt city be interested?
So sick and tired of listening to people belittle a man who has worked his socks off to get us up and running again. I honestly dont remember when last we played football as attractive and exciting as we are under him. He has brought back belief.

Wasn't there some reports of City being interested before Pellegrini went there? Would surprise me if it was true though as they could probably get anyone they want.

Dortmund have signed some expensive players as have Atletico in recent years.
