well, since the sarcasm and humour slipped away from you, it would appear you indeed are out of your depth.
I just want to add, i agree with you on many things you say, but i think you might be pulling to the negative side a bit too much, just as i am probably pulling to the positive side too much. The difference though, i am aware of it and willing to admit that i probably am looking at things from slightly tinted glasses whereas you insist you are right and refuse to acknowledge that in-fact, you aren't right about a lot of things.
Good post Ninja, I think we are all guilty of that a bit. I know I am with players like Lallana at times; feeling that some over praise when he finally makes a tangible contribution I can't help myself going too far the other way and not giving him credit for some things he does.
I feel in a state of Limbo about the team at the moment, we have great momentum, but I don't want to forget that we really should be higher up the table with the amount of money spent. I sometimes get swept up on our great run of form, and as Rodgers said finishing in the top 4 would be such a great achievement its tantamount to what we did last season considering we were something like 10th-12th at xmas. Yet it does mask the fact that we should never have been that low down at christmas, and a season should be judged as a whole, Rodgers can't just pick and choose the best part.
It's what leads me to not really wanting to decide if Rodgers is any good or not till after season's end. I would have said at the beginning of the season that finishing top 4 would be us succeeding this year and I stand by that. The fact that we're showing some silky moves again, and have a chance of an FA cup semi/final adds to that pot.
